

Venezuela’s night sky was engulfed in flames Saturday as the US launched large-scale strikes on the country’s capital city and captured defiant dictator Nicolás Maduro.
Video shows plumes of smoke soaring over Caracas as explosions blast off the ground.
Gunfire can also be heard in the clip, which was captured around 2 a.m. local time.
At least seven blasts in the Venezuelan capital sent people flooding the streets in panic, with the attack lasting nearly 30 minutes.
Photos show a fire tearing through Fuerte (Fort) Tiuna, Venezuela’s largest military complex located in Caracas, after an explosion.
It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties.
